Giacomo Timbrello is an artist, songwriter, producer and session musician based between Los Angeles and Inyo County in California. Growing up surrounded by music of the 70s, Timbrello has an affinity for live music and strong musicianship, connecting with how a great song has the ability to offer a moment of escapism for the listener.

Timbrello was first introduced to music by his family with his sister sharing early records by Coldplay, Flaming Lips, Led Zeppelin and Simon & Garfunkel which were very impressionable in shaping his early musical palette. His mother also remembers vividly that while pregnant with Timbrello, he moved around during a performance of “The Music of the Night'' from The Phantom of the Opera, the song now one of Timbrello’s most adored musical numbers and by no coincidence.

During his teenage years, Timbrello further discovered his love for music, with video games proving quite influential in his early development as a musician. Astounded by the arrangements and orchestrations while playing Final Fantasy, he would often run to the piano to try and figure out the soundtrack’s themes by ear. Similarly, the rise of EDM in the mid to late 2000s proved key in the early development of Timbrello as both a producer and sound designer, with the early soundscapes of Skrillex and Deadmau5 leaving him fascinated with the idea that music could be made on a computer using synthesizers, drum programming, samples and a digital audio workstation like Ableton to record and build your tracks.
